FAQ
Do You Have Anything I Could Wear?
Absolutely! I have an array of dresses and two-piece sets for you to choose from foryourself in sizes 8 - 22, plus newborn outfits... and I'm always adding new colourways, styles and sizes! As a mum, I appreciate having one less errand to think about so that's my aim to do for you!
Do You Offer Family Sessions?
Yes, however I only offer family sessions to new clients (outside of mini sessions) for those that are referred to Mama Faka, or that I feel we align together with a session vision.
There are so many wonderful family-specific photographers if you're after 'just some updated smiling family photos' that I am happy to refer you to!
When Should I Book?
I recommend for maternity clients to reach out once in your second trimester so that your session can be planned between 32-35 weeks (or 30-33 if pregnant with multiples!).
Newborn sessions, I suggest no later than early third trimester as my newborn spaces are currently limited at 2 per month.
Do You Travel For Sessions?
My main area is Toowoomba and surrounds, however I do have the ability to capture your session at the Gold or Sunshine Coast regions.
Please note a $200 travel fee will apply and payable at the time of deposit.
Do You Have Payment Plans?
As of April 2026, Mama Faka now offers Klarna payment options.
A deposit is required within 24hrs to secure your date/s to my calendar, after that final payment is due on the date of our session.
You have the option to pay a lump sum or over installments for your balance, if you find the balance due date causing financial pressure we can discuss installment options.
Please keep in mind your full gallery will not be delivered until final payment is received.
What Happens If We Need To Reschedule?
Sometimes the weather may be ideal to your vision, or illness particularly in pregnancy and kids can strike unexpectedly, which is why I don't charge a fee to reschedule your session. I actually highly encourage to postpone if anyone is unwell to avoid germ-sharing between homes, and avoid unhappy kids!
If you choose to cancel or no-show, your deposit remains non-refundable per T&C's.
